The Golden spike reenactment displayed replica's of the live steam engines used in the original ceremony. These engines moves from the shed too the exhibit to demonstrate the running ability of these engines. They where beautifully replicated to include all the original artwork for the engine. The historic site includes much of the original roadbed of the railway as walking trails or off-roading paths.
