Simple easy way to finish drywall joints. If you have a joint that is not tapered on your drywall take a razor knife and cut a line on both sides of the joint the width of the tape. Wet your sheetrock mud and Stir It Up well being careful not to make bubbles this is what keeps the tape joint from popping off when it's dry. Fill the joint useing a drywall tool then using the same tool press the tape into the joint to where it is flush. Skim another coat over top of the joint then leave it to dry. It is also important to use the wall on both sides as a gauge tapering the edges by twisting your tool to the right or left to minimize the amount of sanding and waste of joint compound.
