Chicago's Blue is,aldn is and remains the best place to railfan that I have ever been too. As far as the amount of f4reight trains I was stunned at the sheer volume of trains I was able to catch in the short two hours I was there. CSX BNSF UP Iowa Interstate Metra and Indiana harbor belt were among the amazing catches I got in my time at Blue Island. The highlights include Iowa interstate foreign power, a BNSF Executive mac, and a rare move of a Metra F40 by the Indiana harbor belt that was headed for re-building in Georgia.
